Occupation:
Investment Banker
Film School: Mount Kilimanjaro,
Teva Mountain Games

"This unique program combines hand-on experience, 'classroom' curriculum and outdoor adventure. The balance was perfect and allowed me to explore all the aspects of filmmaking, from developing a compelling story to filming in harsh conditions with HD equipment and editing the documentary in Final Cut Pro. The learning curve was as steep as our climb up the mountain and equally rewarding. Michael Brown and his team have shot films at the top of Everest and collected prestigious industry awards. Getting access to the depth of experience of the Serac Adventure Film professionals was amazing and invaluable."

Update
Through Serac Adventure Films' contacts, Emeka Ngwube created a short film and web promo video for Trekking For Kids to document their 2009 trek through Spain and Morocco.

After the Teva Mountain Games Adventure Film School, Emeka Ngwube went on to film The Iron Journey, where he followed several ironman triathletes over a year of training.

Emeka's Mount Kilimanjaro Adventure Film School film, A New Yorker's Guide to Climbing Mountains, aired on Resort Sports Network (RSN) in Vail, Colorado.

A New Yorker's Guide to Climbing Mountains

A group of New Yorkers compares the hustle and bustle of every day life in New York City to the dedication and steady pace needed to summit Kilimanjaro. Along the way, they learn the meaning and importance of the mountain's mantra, "Pole, Pole."
