Machu Picchu 2008 Production Schedule

Serac Adventure Films will guide you through the stages of successful filmmaking:

• Pre-Production:
  Learn how to create a compelling story and develop characters while you prepare your gear for the high mountains.
  
  
• Production:
  You will experience the thrills of trekking the Peruvian Andes, and giving back to a local village, while directing and shooting your own film.
• Peru: 12 Days (October 1 - 12)
  This includes everything from when you get off the plane in Lima, Peru to when you get back on.
  
  


• Post-Production:
  Serac Adventure Films will hold a five-day instructional editing retreat in beautiful Colorado. You will learn to edit on computers supplied by Apple and loaded with the latest version of Final Cut Pro software. We'll show you how the pros do it – from organizing and digitizing footage; to editing and adding music. On the final night, we’ll celebrate the world premiere of your films at our very own film festival.
  
• Boulder, Colorado: 5 Days (November 12 - 17)
  Film editing will take place in the Wyndham Hannaway Media Lab, located on world famous Pearl Street Mall.
  
  
  • Wednesday - Orientation dinner at The Mediterranean Restaurant
  • Thursday - Log and digitize your footage
  • Friday - Learn basic editing techniques
  • Saturday - Edit your film
  • Sunday - Finalize picture and sound, upload films to internet, film festiva
