Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains combines epic terrian, big snows, and warm California sunshine. What better setting than a place with unmatched scenic beauty and an Olympic sized history.
Join pioneer filmmakers Roger Brown and
Greg Stump in Lake Tahoe as you learn the classic art of making your own ski and snowboard film. Storyteller Robert Frohlich will also be on hand to offer insights into mountain sports in Lake Tahoe past and present. Don't miss an opportunity to work with these true legends!

Itinerary - 7 Days
Day 1:
Flight arrival to Reno-Tahoe no later than 2pm. A story session and introduction to the program will follow including an introduction to Robert Frohlich. Kick-off dinner at 8pm at resort.
Day 2:
Breakfast introduction with Roger Brown from 8:30am to 12pm. Then "How to Shoot on a Mountain: Skiing, Snowboarding and Shooting" session and instruction from 1 to 4pm.
Day 3:
First full day of shooting on or off the hill from 9am to 4pm. From 6pm to 11pm students begin learning how to edit using Final Cut Pro.
Day 4:
Full day of shooting on or off the hill 9am to 4pm. Roger Brown will be available from 10am to 1pm. From 6pm to 11pm students will attend an editing session with an introduciton to Greg Stump.
Day 5:
Another wonderful day shooting and editing! Roger Brown and Greg Stump on hand for editing from 6pm to 10pm.
Day 6:
Students required to complete first cut of film. A special music session will be held with Greg Stump from 2 pm to 6pm.
Day 7:
Students finish films! At 7pm the student film festival exhibition opens to the public, guests and friends. Graduation ceremony and party to follow.
Day 8:
Serac Adventure Film School concludes and students fly home.

Students Responsible For:
Travel to and from the airport.
The South Tahoe Express shuttle between Reno- Tahoe International Airport and South Lake Tahoe is $26 each way.

External Hard Drive (for media storage)

Ski and Snowboard Gear
Ski and snowboard gear can be rented at the resort. If you are bringing your own equipment please account for extra baggage costs if you are flying.
