2009 Teva Mountain Games Trip Itinerary

Day 1 (Wednesday, June 3): Students Arrive in Vail & Orientation Dinner
Arrive in Denver morning or mid-day (flight arrival to DIA no later than 3pm). Three hour transport from DIA to Vail. Orientation dinner at 7pm with all students, instructors & friends.

Day 2 (Thursday, June 4): First Day of Filming at the Teva Mountain Games
All students and instructors will visit the first day of the games as a group for introduction to adventure filmmaking. Students will have VIP press access to all events. That night students will learn how to digitize footage onto Apple edit computers.

Day 3 (Friday, June 5): Second Day of Filming at the Teva Mountain Games
Students and instructors will film at the second day of the games and continue digitizing footage onto edit computers. Students will have VIP press access to all events.

Day 4 (Saturday, June 6): Third Day of Filming at the Teva Mountain Games
Students and instructors will film at the third day of the games and continue digitizing footage onto edit computers. Students will have VIP press access to all events.

Day 5 (Sunday, June 7): Final Day of Filming at the Teva Mountain Games
Students and instructors will conclude filming at the final day of the games and begin the editing of their films. Students will learn how to use basic tools of Final Cut Pro editing software and begin the assembly of their films.

Day 6 (Monday, June 8): Editing Session
Second day of editing. Students will learn more advanced functions of Final Cut Pro software and will continue editing their films with help from Serac instructors.

Day 7 (Tuesday, June 9): Editing Session & Student Film Festival

Final day of editing. Students will learn how to put the finishing touches on their films and how to export the final product. An evening screening of all student films will be held with a graduation ceremony concluding the school.

Day 8 (Wednesday, June 10): Student Departure
Serac Adventure Film School concludes and students fly home.

*Students will receive a detailed schedule of all events upon acceptance.
