2009 Teva Mountain Games Production Schedule

Serac Adventure Films will guide you through the stages of successful filmmaking:

  • Pre-Production: Prior to Departure
    Learn how to create a compelling story and develop characters while you prepare your gear for the Rocky Mountains of Vail, Colorado.

  • Production: Teva Mountain Games – Vail, Colorado: 5 Days (June 3 - 7)
    You will experience the thrills of the country’s largest celebration of mountain sports while directing and shooting your own film.
    • Wednesday - Student Arrival & Orientation Dinner
    • Thursday to Sunday - VIP Access & Filming at Teva Mountain Games

  • Post-Production: Antlers at Vail - Vail, Colorado: 3 Days (June 7 - 9)
    As the Teva Mountain Games end there is a three-day instructional editing session. You will learn to edit on computers supplied by Apple and loaded with the latest version of Final Cut Pro editing software. We'll show you how the pros do it – from organizing and digitizing footage; to editing and adding music. On the final night, we'll celebrate the world premiere of your films at our very own film festival.
    • Sunday - Digitize your Footage & Learn Basic Editing Techniques
    • Monday - Edit your film & Learn Advanced Editing Techniques
    • Tuesday - Finalize Picture and Sound, Export Films for Screening, Film Festival
