"Having had little experience with my camera and to top it off no experience at all on a MAC or with Final Cut Pro, I was really nervous about signing up for the Serac Adventure Film School. I was amazed at how much I learned in such a short time about being behind the camera, setting up shots, interview skills, editing and more. The Serac team was so knowledgeable and helpful (and fun to be with!), the school gave me the confidence and the tools to explore my love of filmmaking and move forward in a new career."

Continued adventures in filmmaking

• Stacy returned from her first backpacking experience in August 2009 and created a short film of what she saw along the trail entitled "Holy Cats! (Backpacking on Mount of the Holy Cross)."
