Required Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Required Deposit:
Upon acceptance, a $500.00 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot in the Outside Adventure Film School. Checks should be made payable to "Serac Adventure Films" or you can call our office at 303.440.8101 to make a credit card payment over the phone. The remaining balance is due three weeks prior to departure. If final payment is not received when due, Serac Adventure Films reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the costs we have incurred to reserve your place in the school. This fee will be deducted from the balance that was paid beyond the initial $500 non-refundable deposit. The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
Days before Departure:
61-95 days: 30% forfeiture of payment
31-60 days: 60% forfeiture of payment
0-30 days: 100% forfeiture of payment
Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, terrorism, civil unrest or personal, family or medical reasons. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. Percentage charges are calculated on total trip cost.
Transfer Payment to Future School:
If you must cancel your reservation, you have the option to transfer all payments made towards a school in the future. All $500 non-refundable deposits may be transferred free of charge. However, payments made beyond this amount will incur a $250 transfer fee. Requests for tuition payment transfers must be made at least one month prior to the departure date.
