"A Climber's Blind Determination" featured on ABC News documenting the story of 46-year-old Bill Barkeley successfully summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. Barkeley loses more and more of his hearing and vision each day due to a rare genetic disease called Usher Syndrome. The story is also documented in the short film "Walk Your Own Path" by Josh Levine as part of the Serac Adventure Film School.

Join Serac Adventure Films and the Adventure Film School for the premiere of seven new short films on November 16, 2008 at 7pm in the Atlas Auditorium room 102 at the University of Colorado. In early October, seven filmmakers trekked the 'Super Inca' trail to the lost city of Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes with video cameras rolling. From this journey emerged seven unique films, each surprisingly different; each surprisingly original. Admission is free.
